Fee’s and Payment Terms

Daily Fee without Funding entitlement £85.00 per day.

For a detailed table of funded fee’s for 9month-2 years, 2 years, 3 & 4 years please request from the setting. 

Littluns Day Care offers a stretched provision, meaning your funded hours are spread evenly across the whole year, supporting parents with predictable childcare patterns and avoiding term-time restrictions. Fee’s are calculated and annualised. Invoices remain the same, including when nursery is closed for bank and statutory holidays and training days. Fee’s are calculated over 51 weeks, ensuring parents are not charged for the Christmas brea. Fee’s are payable monthly in advance by the 1st of each month. Payments received later than the 5th of each month will incur a late penalty fee which is added to the following month’s invoice. All fee’s must be paid by direct debit or tax free childcare unless pre-authorised. We do not accept salary sacrifice payments. All sessions contracted for must be paid for. No reductions are made for time off due to holidays, sickness or other absences. You may book additional sessions providing the setting has availability and meets with ratio requirements. 8 weeks notice is required should you wish to cancel your childs place or reduce/change session days.  

Registration & Deposit

A deposit of £250 is required to hold the place. The deposit is then refunded from the final months bill having given 8 weeks notice and providing nursery account is up to date.  

At Littluns Day Care, we aim to make funded childcare clear, accessible and easy for families to use.  Eligible working parents may receive up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week and we are pleased to offer this through our stretched, all-year-round provision.

How we offer funded hours, what is included and what isn’t 

We are approved providers of the early years working parent entitlement and universal funding entitlement for eligible children aged 9 months to 4 years of age. We will provide you with all the necessary information and parent declaration forms to complete as your child becomes eligible. It is your responsibility to apply for your eligibility code from the governement and renew as required.

Please note the funded education is only applicable to the daily funded hours. We provide 5.5 hours of funded childcare per day. 

Government funding covers childcare only. It does not cover consumables or additional services.

At Littluns Day Care, consumables charged separately include:

• Breakfast

• Snacks

• Lunch

• Tea

• Nappies

• Suncream

• Other consumable items used throughout the day

Our Stretched Year Round Provision

Littluns Day Care offers a stretched provision, meaning your funded hours are spread evenly across the whole year, supporting parents with predictable childcare patterns and avoiding term-time restrictions.

Opening Hours 

We are open:  Monday to Thursday – 8:00am to 6:00pm

This structure supports a calm, nurturing routine that benefits every child.

Planned Closures

We close:

• For a period over Christmas and New Year

• For half a day in August for our annual Graduation & Prize Giving

• On all Bank Holidays and Statutory Holidays

All planned closure dates are communicated at least 6 months in advance so families can plan ahead.
